    • Chelsea grew up in Mesa, Arizona where she started her career in gymnastics at the age of 5. She received a full ride gymnastics scholarship to the University of Washington in Seattle and after graduating, she became an acrobat in Las Vegas. She performed in an aquatic acrobatic show called “Le Reve – The Dream” at the Wynn Hotel. During her time in Vegas she was Pilates certified and began teaching before moving to San Francisco to be with her husband and co-owner Paul Olarte. Chelsea fell in love with the Lagree Fitness Method and because of her gymnastics and Pilates teaching background, teaching the Lagree Method was second nature for her. Once she was introduced to the power tower she loved the rhythm climb and was excited to step outside of her comfort zone to teach a new discipline.

    • She was introduced to weight training 10 years ago where her passion for fitness was ignited. Since then, Veronica has tried many forms of workouts which helps her continuously refine her approach to her routines and overall style.
    • CCB Fit is not just a place for Veronica to share her passion and knowledge for fitness, it’s a community of incredibly supportive and amazing individuals that she feels very lucky to be a part of. Veronica’s been teaching at CB Fit since the beginning, and the friendships she’s built along the way with both clients and instructors is why CB Fit is so special to her.

    • When not teaching (or taking) classes at CB Fit, Tina works as a product designer for Volvo and also runs her own design studio through Sand Studio Designs. Working at CB is her way of connecting with her health and wellness roots after having completed a Masters of Public Health but leaving her career in healthcare. By teaching Lagree fitness and Climb, she can still promote lifelong wellness while also connecting with her community.
  • Why CB?
    • CB Fit is a place where working out and community come together – blending a perfect balance of a 45 minute burn no matter who’s class you’re in with instructors that support you and challenge you no matter what level you are. There is always room for growth, but there is also space for modification if and when you need it. To her, that’s the perfect balance keeping us from that workout “burnout” she often feels with other workout styles.

    • Kim’s love for music stemmed from childhood as music was always on in the house. And as she attempted to find balance between working in corporate & getting a workout in, she found fitness classes being a great fit for her schedule (plus it fits her planning personality!). Eventually it became a natural fit to blend the worlds together as a fitness instructor, where she encourages people to show up for them.
    • When she’s not on the mic naturally cueing to beat drops, she’s most likely working with her team on products/new products for a food company.
  • Why CB?
    • Kim first joined CB Fit in 2019 after hearing about it from several friends. Figuring it would be a nice complement to her yoga practice/ instruction (she is also a certified yoga instructor), she took a class and the rest was history! She quickly learned what the hype was and worked towards expanding her instruction to Climb (2020) and Lagree (2021).

    • You’ll probably find Kim at the studio teaching! She’s also most likely taking herself out on self dates to recharge, and/or spending time with her friends and family.

    • I started teaching Climb in Jan 2020. I really enjoyed taking Climb classes first, they were exactly the kind of vibe I look for in group classes. High energy, great music, challenging workouts and amazing instructors. I felt like I could bring my uniqueness and personal flair to Climb with my love for all kinds of music and my affinity to choreography.

    • She fell in love with Lagree immediately when she attended her first class with Chelsea. It was love at first ‘shake’ for her. The low impact nature of the workout with an intensity to make you sweat is THE best workout combination. She loves CBFit, as well, because of the amazing clients!

    • For her full time job she works for lululemon which only enhances her love for an active lifestyle. It opened the door to so many types of fitness experiences and activities, for which she is beyond grateful for.

    • Jessie grew up in Southern California as a competitive swimmer and found her way to the Bay Area after college. She always thought she’d return to sunny SoCal, but life had other plans and she’s thriving in Danville with her husband, son, and baby girl.  She loves having CB Fit as another outlet outside of Corporate America and motherhood where she can have fun in the studio and soak up all the great energy from the fitness minded community.
  • Why you got into Lagree/CBFit:
    • Jessie got into Lagree during her San Francisco days of sampling boutique fitness studios. Lagree provided the perfect balance of strength and core work (she used to love rocking a crop top!) while still being low impact enough to keep up a Drybar blowout through the weekend. When she moved to the East Bay in 2018 she found CB Fit, and it has been a part of her routine and community ever since.  She got certified in 2020 and it has been a great way to stay connected to friends especially through the last few crazy years!
  • What you can find me doing during the weekend:
    • After taking CB Fit in the morning, you can find Jessie taking a walk to the farmers market, followed by hanging out with the family in her backyard, swimming and grilling with a glass of AXR Rosé or a skinny marg.

    • Koko grew up competitive swimming in both the pool and the ocean. Dry land training and conditioning were always part of her training program. She discovered the power yoga and Pilates could have on both strength building and recovery and became a diligent practitioner of both methods. Lagree was the perfect marriage of physical challenge and mental focus and discipline making it highly addictive to her.
  • Why CB?
    • Koko discovered CB Fit upon moving to the East Bay in 2017 and quickly found her people and her new community. Since then, she’s been practicing religiously at least twice a week and decided to return the burn to the community in 2020 when she got certified to teach. Koko loves watching clients fall in love with the method and progress incrementally with each and every class they take. Having rebounded recently from injury, she also appreciates that Lagree is a workout that staves off the effects of aging and prevents injury. She’s motivated by the physical and mental strength of the CB community and loves watching people her parents’ age hang onto a French Twist longer than she can!

  • Amy was born and raised in Michigan and moved to the Bay Area six years ago. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and is passionate about all things food and wellness! Amy currently works as a territory business manager for an infant nutrition company where she supports pediatrician offices and babies with special feeding needs.

    • Amy started teaching Climb X Bootcamp because she loves music and any rhythm based workouts and wanted to be even more of a part of the awesome community at CB Fit. Her favorite part of class is putting together curated playlists from start of class to finish!

    • After working as a Vogue Editorial Assistant, Pharma Sales Rep & Construction Project Manager, Britt realized the place she loved ‘putting in the work’ most was at the studio.  Despite chasing 2 toddlers all day, Britt brings the EN-ER-GY to her classes through her carefully-curated playlists, contagious motivation and (ex-) cheerleader smile. Speaking of music, this born n’ raised East-Bay Girl prides herself on her ‘lit playlists.’
  • Why I became a lagree instructor
    •   Britt wanted to become a fitness instructor for years, but hadn’t found a workout that inspired her.  After trying nearly every workout under the sun, she truly didn’t see, nor feel a difference until she started lagree.
    • What she discovered through her practice is how superior feeling strong is compared to just having a toned body, especially when she was pregnant with her children.  Helping others feel more confident and stronger through different stages of their lives is her #1 goal as an instructor.
    • Weekend: Hiking Tennessee Valley with her husband & kids (yes, she carries her daughter on her back), followed by shopping at the Country Mart & a Sol Food Meal. As an aspiring celebrity home chef, Britt also loves hitting the farmers market & creating delicious meals with her fresh finds.  She always has her ‘emotional support book’ in her bag & caps her night off with her current read….weekend nights are WILD with kids!

    • I am an ace certified personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and certified lagree Instructor. After teaching pilates for 9 years I wanted to teach a style with more cardio and sculpting, I like that lagree gets your heartrate up and makes you sweat.

    • Brianna started springboard and platform diving at the age of 6, competing competitively throughout her childhood and eventually becoming a coach. She’s dabbled in all sorts of fitness but was never a fan of group fitness classes until CB stole her heart!
  • Why you got into being an instructor, why CB fit:
    • Brianna was the long-time babysitter for a diehard CB client who insisted she try lagree, and the rest is history! From the second she stepped onto the megaformer she fell in love because of the similarities to diving in form, technique, and emphasis placed on the mind-body connection. She loves how people of different backgrounds and experience can all try this magical method and experience noticeable growth and improvement with each day of practice.
    • CB is an amazing community with instructors that encourage and celebrate each and every member’s growth. Brianna was unsure of her ability to become an instructor at first, but with lots of encouragement from this community she is honored to be a part of the CB Fit team! Her favorite thing about teaching is watching each client get stronger and more confident with every class.

    • Brianna’s weekend kicks off on Saturday morning at 7am with her Lagree superstars in Walnut Creek! When she’s not at the studio she’s usually coaching diving, where the kids now have a love/hate relationship with the Lagree inspired exercises she has them do for warmups 😉

    • Morgan discovered Lagree while on vacation in Hawaii. After taking a few classes on vacation she began attending CB fit and quickly fell in love with the supportive community. As her passion for Lagree developed Morgan became an instructor and was certified by founder of the method Sebastian Lagree.

Maria De Alexandris

  • Background:
    • Maria was born in Rome, Italy where she studied a La Sapienza University and got her degree in Modern Languages, French. She worked in Paris at Disneyland Paris and after that moved to Washington DC with her husband. She received her Master degree at CUA where she also taught French language classes for first and second year students. Worked for the National Italian American Foundation for a few years and then decided to move to California with her husband. She became the CFO of a company in California while raising two beautiful boys. Maria loves fitness and during her entire life never stopped trying new kinds of fitness classes. She became a certified Turbo Kickboxing instructor while doing personal training and cross-fit. At some point she started to feel the bad side effects of high impact training and started to go to a Lagree studio in Danville. When the studio closed she followed her instructor to CBFIT in Walnut Creek. Maria fell in love with the method thanks to the amazing instructors at CBFIT: Chelsea Olarte, Pamela Pope and Veronica Vetter.

    • You will never be bored doing Lagree and every class is completely different. Lagree is the only kind of exercise that tightens, strengthen your body while not having any impact on your joints. Thanks to the Lagree method, Maria started to become stronger, her range of motion improved.
    • Slowly all the pains and weaknesses accumulated through the years in her body magically disappeared. After six years of taking Lagree classes at CBFIT, Maria decided to become a Level 1 and then Level 2 instructor.
    • Maria loves fitness and during her entire life never stopped trying new kinds of fitness classes. She became a certified Turbo Kickboxing instructor while doing personal training and cross-fit. At some point she started to feel the bad side effects of high impact training and started to go to a Lagree studio in Danville. When the studio closed she followed her instructor to CBFIT in Walnut Creek. Maria fell in love with the method thanks to the amazing instructors at CBFIT: Chelsea Olarte, Pamela Pope and Veronica Vetter.
  • What you are most likely to be found doing on your weekend:
    • Maria likes to spend her time with her husband and lovely basset hound. She likes to go for dinner at Lucia’s in Berkeley or Perbacco in San Francisco. Maria enjoys cooking real Italian food respecting the original Italian tradition.

  • Seattle born and Bay Area raised, Natalia has hopped around the West Coast working at different fitness studios while in college, and found her love for Lagree after hitting a slump in the spin and barre world. She loved how Lagree challenges the body in multiple ways at once, and all the options there are to modify and or level up the workout. She found she didn’t need any other workout besides Lagree, and saw the most changes in her body physically in the shortest amount of time. Not to mention how she feels like a badass after completing this tough nonstop 45 minute class! When she moved to the Bay Area from Sacramento, her first priority was to find a Lagree studio to share her love for the workout with others and begin teaching ASAP. It was love at first class with CB Fit 🙂
  • When Natalia isn’t at the studio, she’s likely spending time with family and friends, binging reality tv, or letting loose at a music festival.
  • Favorite Lagree move is BEAR! (Fun fact: it used to be her LEAST favorite)
  • Natalia’s classes turn into Club CB- meaning lots of House/EDM with a touch of Hip Hop. She believes in the power of bass and heavy beats.
  • Her coffee order is a large Philz Mint Mojito with medium sugar and creamy vanilla soy milk!

      you shaking in your sticky socks before the clock strikes 45! Aurora is
      obsessed with the high-intensity, low-impact method that is Lagree, and
      promises to serve you a class you’re sure to feel the next day. Come for
      the killer playlist and good vibes; leave feeling SORE + accomplished!
      When she’s not at CB Fit, you can find her on a rooftop with an espresso
      martini in hand.
  • What are you most likely to be found doing on your weekend?
    • Hopping on a flight to somewhere fun 😉 But when I’m here in the Bay,
      I love starting out my weekends with a workout at CB Fit, followed by
      brunch (and mimosas, of course!).
  • Your favorite Lagree move?
    • Favorite Lagree combo is a deadlift with a row!
  • Fave music to Lagree to?
    • I like to keep things fresh and fun for my playlists. You’ll hear all
      genres of music in my class — from reggaeton, to EDM, to pop, to hip
      hop/rap — I love & play it all!
  • Coffee or smoothie order?
    • My go-to is any sort of smoothie with greens and fruits.
